Get It While You Can

We've been ski busy
Powder days skip school for us
Get here soon - or now

Lack of entries = lots of ski days.  Who wants to waste time turning on the computer?

Not us. Not you either.  If you've been pinned under a car for taking someone's shoveled-out spot and haven't skied,  GET.  HERE. NOW.

The parking lot at Sugarbush looked black today for the first time since early January, and words like "mixed precipitation" and "rain event" are showing up in forecasts.

We can attest that there is still a lot of untracked powder in the woods, and that while some of it is windblown, it's light enough to make even the most nervous ACL feel okay about heading past the SKI BOUNDARY signs.  This was taken 3/2:

The Single Chair Weather blog is reporting a possible warm-up for mid-March:
Single Chair post for 3/2

Mr. Fox is reporting below average temps for this week and into next, but around March 12th, things warm up - even hitting 60.  He then foresees a return to winter for the end of March before posts drop off in April and we start getting really depressed about having to wait seven more months before we ski again.

Time to get that summer house in Portillo.
